374 Provincial Nominee Class Candidates Invited

In the third Express Entry draw of 2021, the Canadian government has extended 374 invitations to qualified Provincial Nominee class candidates. Candidates with a provincial nomination can receive up to 600 extra points toward their CRS score, making them highly competitive candidates within the Express Entry pool.

It looks like we are back to program-specific draws for the time being. The Canadian government began holding these program-specific draws after the pandemic hit in March 2020. In the second half of 2020, the Canadian government once again resumed all-program draws. We are hopeful that we will see a return to all-program draws with a higher number of ITAs in the near future. Canada is poised to welcome more newcomers than ever over the next few years.

Last year was a record-breaking one for Canada’s Express Entry system. A total of 107,350 invitations were issued, the highest number of ITAs issued through EE in one year. We anticipate that this year will be another big one, with more ITAs issued than ever before.
