4,750 Canadian Experience Class Candidates Invited

After an underwhelming start to the new year with only 250 invitations issued in the last draw, we are glad to see a dramatic turnaround. In this latest draw, the Canadian federal government has issued another 4,750 invitations to eligible Express Entry candidates. The CRS cut-off score for this draw was 461.

It looks like we are back to program-specific draws for the time being. The Canadian government began holding these program-specific draws after the pandemic hit in March 2020. In the second half of 2020, the Canadian government once again resumed all-program draws. We are hopeful that we will see a return to all-program draws with a higher number of ITAs in the near future. Canada is poised to welcome more newcomers than ever over the next few years.

Last year was a record-breaking one for Canada’s Express Entry system. A total of 107,350 invitations were issued, the highest number of ITAs issued through EE in one year. We anticipate that this year will be another big one, with more ITAs issued than ever before.
