EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW #154 | CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS SPECIFIC

3,508 Express Entry candidates in the Canadian Experience Class program will receive invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence in the 154th Express Entry draw on June 25th, 2020. The minimum CRS cut-off score for this draw is 431, down six points from the last Canadian Experience Class-specific draw.

Draw Number: 154
Draw Date: June 25th, 2020
Number of Invitations Issued: 3508
Minimum CRS: 431
Program Specified: Canadian Experience Class
Tie-breaking rule: April 3rd, 2020

Canadian Experience Class Candidates Invited

In the 154th Express Entry draw, the IRCC limited the draw to invite only candidates with active profiles in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program. Candidates in the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) and Federal Skilled Trades (FST) programs were not considered in this draw.

Today’s draw saw 3,508 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) issued to CEC candidates with a CRS score of 431 points or higher, down six points since the last CEC-specific draw. With each draw, the CRS cut-off score seems to be falling, a good indication that the federal government is ramping up to issue even more invitations in the coming months.

In order to qualify for the Canadian Experience Class program, candidates are required to have a minimum of one year of full-time and skilled work experience in Canada. Additionally, CEC candidates must show proficiency in English or French equivalent to the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher.

We are pleased to see that in spite of the ongoing crisis, Canada is continuing to issue invitations. Due to COVID-19, Express Entry draws are currently being limited to Provincial Nominee Program and Canadian Experience Class candidates only.
