Manitoba’s Provincial Nominee Program has issued 142 invitations to candidates through all three of the province’s immigration streams in today’s draw. Candidates who have received an invitation can now apply to the province for nomination; later on, successful nominees can apply for Canadian permanent residence.
Breakdown of invitations issued:
Skilled Worker in Manitoba minimum score: 375
International Education minimum score: N/A
Skilled Workers Overseas minimum score: 708
How does this round of invitations compare to past MPNP draws?
Unlike Manitoba’s previous draw, which targeted only the Skilled Worker Overseas candidates with active Express Entry profiles, this draw has targeted all three of the province’s immigration streams.
This draw also saw the lowest cut-off for the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream since December 2020.
Candidates invited under the Skilled Workers Overseas stream in this draw were invited directly under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. A strategic initiative provides a candidate with an additional 500 points toward their score on Manitoba’s Provincial Nominee Program Expression of Interest points grid. Therefore, candidates in this draw needed an additional 208 points from their human capital factors; the maximum points that can be claimed for these factors is 500.
