EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW #192 | 6,000 CEC CANDIDATES SELECTED

On June 10, 2021, the IRCC invited 6,000 Express Entry CEC candidates targeting the second lowest CRS score this year. As the travel restrictions remain in place, Canada continues to lower the minimum score selected, targeting those with recent Canadian work experience.

As more Canadians are vaccinated, there is increasing pressure from politicians for a plan to reopen the Canadian border. Once the border reopens, non-specified Express Entry draws are likely to resume. These draws target all programs, including the Federal Skilled Worker class, which have been on pause since the beginning of the pandemic. As draws return to some degree of pre-pandemic normalcy, it is likely that the CRS cut-off will also rise for all programs.
