EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW #169 | 5,000 ITAs ISSUED

5,000 Express Entry candidates have received Invitations to Apply for Canadian permanent residence in the 169th Express Entry draw on December 9, 2020. Invitations were issued to candidates in all three of the economic immigration streams managed by the Express Entry system, including Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).  The minimum CRS cut-off score for this draw was 469, holding steady since the last draw.

Draw Number: 169
Draw Date: December 9, 2020
Number of Invitations Issued: 5,000
Minimum CRS: 469
Program Specified: None
Tie-breaking rule: June 4, 2020

Another 5,000 Express Entry Candidates Receive ITAs

In this latest draw, the Canadian federal government has issued another 5,000 invitations to eligible Express Entry candidates. The CRS cut-off score for this draw was 469. This is the same cut-off we saw in the last Express Entry draw two weeks ago, which was the lowest CRS cut-off score we’ve seen in an all-program draw since December 2019.

We are pleased to see a sustained decrease in the CRS cut-off score for Express Entry draws, making Canadian permanent residence a very real possibility for all Express Entry candidates.

With the Canadian government pledging to admit more than 1.2 million immigrants over the next three years, we look forward to more frequent Express Entry draws with higher numbers of invitations than ever before.
