Ontario Invites 115 French-Speaking Express Entry Candidates

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has invited 115 French-speaking skilled workers from the Express Entry pool of candidates.

Dates of Express Entry profiles considered: July 21, 2020 – July 21, 2021
CRS score range: 461 to 467
Number of invitations: 115

How can I be invited in the French-Speaking stream?

Throughout the year, OINP invites French-speaking candidates directly from the Express Entry pool to apply for nomination. This is the fourth French-speaking draw held this year. In addition to meeting the minimum Express Entry requirements to submit a profile, candidates must also meet the following:

If a candidate meets these requirements, and the CRS requirements of the draw, they may be issued a Notification of Interest (NOI) of their Express Entry profile.

Candidates who received a notification of interest on their Express Entry profile must subsequently submit an application to Ontario via the OINP online portal within 45 calendars days. At submission, candidates must then remit a non-refundable application fee of $1,500 CAD.

After receiving a nomination, a candidates’ CRS score will increase by 600 points, essentially guaranteeing an Invitation to Apply for permanent residence.
